PC's i7 processor

Just thought I would share this around - in case anyone is looking to build a new computer for rollouts or whatever.

I recently (April) bought a new PC with the i7 920 processor in it, and GNU 2/2 analysis is taking around 30-40secs to analyze a 300 move match. I understand that Ilia is also enjoying these same lightning fast analysis (we both bought the same one!). Speed calibration is showing 290000 static evals.

Anecdote: Was playing Hugh Sconyers on GG last night, and I was able to tell him his and my ER's from our previous match one move into our 2nd match - he asked how I could do it so quickly, and I told him 'fast pc & GNU' - I think I may have scared him off with it a little. Didnt stop him from beating me in both matches (3.1 & 2.0 to my 3.0 & 4.5).

So, if you are thinking about it, I would seriously and strongly recommend the i7 processor. It is sooo SAAAWEEEEETTTT!
