A slightly less developed well timed 42 backgame for BOT comparisons.

I wouldn't cube this OTB as the timing is too good and it is too easy to lose.

Snowie says this is .370 cubeless and also ND. D/T is .419 while leaving the cube alone is .505. Thus we see Snowie and GNU evals are very close here.

XBG says this pos is .402 cubeless and also ND. D/T is .509 while ND is .546.

JF is doing a better job here and says .437 cubeless and also ND!

What does BGB say on 3 ply?

Anyhow, I am observing that XBG's evaluation of backgames has improved significantly from when I saw earlier prototypes in past years. However, many positions need to be cross checked with Snowie and GNU and rollouts.

The score (after 0 games) is: Opp 0, Neil Kazaross 0

Move number 4: Neil Kazaross on roll, cube decision?

 ' ' '1X2X2X2X2X1X ' ' '

 '2X3O2X4O3O3O2O1X ' ' '

Pip counts: Opp 169, Neil Kazaross 84
Position ID: aNsCghmcdzcAAA Match ID: cAkAAAAAAAAA

• Neil Kazaross doubles

Alert: wrong double ( -0.0800)!
