What board and dice configuration gives the most legal move sequences?

Here's another theoretical puzzle: Given the freedom to put the chequers of both players and choose the dice as you wish, what position yields the most move sequences that each lead to different board position?

Tip. You can play around with GnuBg and setup positions quickly. The hint will give the total number of different moves (scroll down the list). Turn 0-ply evaluation on for faster results.

I'll post my own best result later for no-spoilers. :)
