Error rates at GG/GS

I played a series of games with a friend, each playing seven games at GG and then swapping. When analyzed, we both had a lower aggregate ER when playing GS. Poor sample size indeed, but it led us to ask:

Is playing GS inherently easier than GG, just in terms of error rate?
