Blitz cube action

The two positions below came up when I was playing Motif Backgammon. Motif doesn't use the Jacoby rule, but let's pretend that Jacoby is in force.

I learned an important lesson about blitzes by exploring several variations on these positions. But I'm getting ahead of myself. First, what do you think is the correct cube action in each case?
