Madison Playoff Brackets

The staff made the correct (based on the format with conso and playoffs) decision to draw the finals bracket after 8 rds.

There were two 7-1's (me and Scott Casty) who have now cashed and are in tomorrow's semis at 11 am. There were five 6-2's who will play down to be the other two semifinalists. Two unlucky players, had to play the extra rd and Al Hodis just beat Matt R. He will play Mary Hickey now to determine who will play Scott in that semi. Tak Morioka has a big lead on Joe Freedman to determine my opp for tomorrow.

There were ten 5-3's who went into the conso and the 5 winners will be met by the 3 losers of the 6-2 matches to create a perfectly fair bracket of eight 6-3's who will playoff for conso 1st and 2nd prizes.

A good decision by the staff to draw the playoffs when they did, based on the format.
