An Open Letter to SHG Players

Perhaps SHG could create an option where two players could, by mutual agreement, opt to use the old dice generator
The possiblities are endless! The local poker room could attract players with some tables that use a 49-card deck. A chess server might recruit new members with some games where one side or the other is randomly allowed to move twice in a row. A racquet club could redesign some courts in the shape of parallelograms.
Moving beyond the obvious, however, there is an interesting question as to what SHG should do now, and whether we can/should help them.
How about they help themselves by soon announcing (1) we had a problem (2) this is what the problem caused (3) this is what the problem was (4) this is what we've done to fix it (5) this is why we're sure we have fixed it (6) we're very sorry we didn't catch it earlier ourselves and (7) here are some links for further reading on dice, probability and random dice generators, for those few inclined to reach such things.
An exercise: See http://www.bkgm.com/rgb/rgb.cgi?view+712 and http://www.bkgm.com/rgb/rgb.cgi?view+1425 and calculate the probability of throwing (a) X and (b) at least X doubles in the 2*Y = ~55 rolls in an average DMP game.
