Pardon me for stating that I have no idea where or how you made this comparison. I just ran a long match where I played at a 1.55 ER using GNU 2 ply W/C (wish I always was that good) thru XG's Thorough Analysis and it says that I played at a 2193 elo.

I recall Xavier giving the approximation that 2240- XG reported elo / 33 is about equal to ER.

I have found that to be true. In this case 2240-2193= 47 47/33 = 1.42 so this is reasonably close.

I have found that really well played shortish matches from online where I've managed 2200 or so XG elo tend to evaluate in the low 1's when I run them thru GNU.
