If we play 13/1(2), there are a few variations where White hops into our outfield and we are able to hit him and cover our inner blot. Our prospects of containing him aren't great at that point, but having him on the bar versus a four point board might give us some time to make the 22pt before more White checkers arrive on the scene. That would be a big improvement. Granted this scenario doesn't happen a lot, but I'm having trouble finding the best play, and this is at least a path to victory I can "see."
