I don't see anything but 13/1 (2) here. It makes an inner board point, which may not be so important since it is the ace point, but it keeps two checkers on the midpoint. When Stick takes his two back checkers into the outfield we might be able to attack them.

The only other play that might be considered is 13/7 (4), but that seems like a sure loser in my book. Stick will just bring the back checkers out, maybe picking up our 4-point blot on the way, and it's pretty much game over.
