In Response To: NY Ruling Dispute (Chiva Tafazzoli)

As much as I basically agree with Phil about "rules being rules and should be acknowledged by everyone", letīs also keep in mind that backgammon is a gentlemenīs game and we donīt want people to bank on rules and insist on enforcing them by the letter at the slightest "grey zone". That kills the game more than it helps it.

I don't really disagree, but what's worse, the person who wants to enforce the letter of the law, or the person who chronically breaks many different rules?
