Anyhow, when not playing legal moves I often call attention to my opp when he is in the process of making an illegal move that I am not likely to accept. This is critical when playing with two sets of dice, since he may have missread the dice and I want to avoid a conflict about what was rolled. It is also helpful if he's properly read the dice but may forget where the checkers moved came from unless I alert him now.

What a shame that our game suffers from rules and procedures that are not common sense in some critical cases, leading to needless disputes and resulting in BG not being as much of a gentlemans' game as some of use would like.

I honestly and strongly feel that this hurts the growth of our game.
