So, 22 immediate hits for blue here (1s,2s,34), 44,55,66 all make a significant leap in race, and the smallest missing number is 53, which brings race to 107 to 102, which is effectively a close race, obviously with white leading it.

So what happens if white gets hit? white enters, its a close D/T, white fails to enter, its a close D/P. There are a small number of gammons here - probably around 25% to 30% after a hit, but thats only if white fans, so there is an effective market loss on any hit/fan combination.

Is it a take? Hell yes. Beaver? As Chuck surmised, no.

Is it then a double? I think so. There are market losing sequences, you have 22/36 hits as well as large doubles to aid you, and even if it does turn into a race, blue is far from out of it. There is also a very small amount of equity in holding the white bar point, so thats an added bonus too. All in all, I think blue has just enough to cube this one, white certainly is taking.
