When the opponent has a the starting position setup + builder on the 9pt think hit when you can. I don't care if you call it a tempo hit or not but take a minute and look at how all of his rolls play and you should be impressed with what that one little builder adds. I'm not saying hitting is correct here just pushing the value of the 9pt builder.

If you hit the 'not having anything to cover with' isn't bad. Assuming the opponent fans you have 65 to cover with, 62 53 44 22 to hit his outfield blot, and aces which swipe the guy off the ace point.
