You've gotten me doing it but so far I haven't found what I'm looking for.

What are you looking for?

I prefer the term "cube leverage" for what you call "cube efficiency" in Problem 1.

Just to emphasize again, it's what GNU Backgammon calls cube efficiency in the "View Statistics" window. It's what "I" call cube efficiency only insofar as I am reading aloud what it says in that window.

It could be called "take percentage" perhaps. But I'm not sure it needs a name unless it proves to be a useful concept in its own right. Currently I will glance at it to get some feeling for the recube vig but I don't yet see what quantitative value it has.
