To me, pointing on the ace point is screaming to be played at any score where there is a normal incentive to win a gammon. If I were White, I'd be greatly relieved if my opponent made any other play.

At DMP or GS, I'd run (20/14(2)), but that's not say that I think the decision is close for money (or money-like scores); I don't.
