Must have been Bruce Becker. First-ply 21: 4 5 is just an extension of the Beckerian opening strategy of slot, cover, slot, cover, slot, cover, double-out. Of course the slotter will sometimes be hit, but then the insidious backgame ensues, with eventual redouble accompanied by urbane sneer as shown on the BG for Blood cover.
