Truncate when reaching one-sided bear off database is indeed the default setting for XG, but also for Snowie (and GnuBG when rolling cubeless)!

One-sided bearoff database are not perfect, otherwise we would not need a two-sided bear off database. (just for the record the equity of the position for D/T is 0.998 using GnuBG MET, 1.009 using Snowie MET and 1.003 using XG MET, so the error created by using one-sided bearoff database is less important than which MET you use).

However, it could be a good idea to automaticaly disable that truncation if the position rolled is a bear-off position.

To answer NeilKaz: my advice is to keep that option checked.
