While that white 6pt is open, I am paying right now. The fact that there are future combinations where blue can double blot (by clearing his 6pt now) just points me towards paying now. Also when hit immediately, your returns are more lucrative, as white has much less of a chance of re-rehitting you. Its long, yes, but long is what this game is about.
