Oops! Nack has just been pointed out to me that White is in the lead. Note to self: when the numbers are negative, bigger is a greater lead!

So lets have another crack at the doubling rule. White's count of -4(3) converts to -4 * 6 + 3 = -21. Plus 57 = 36, and doubled = 72. Nearest root is 8, which is the point of last take.

Blue trails by 6, so it is a Double or Redouble, and a take. The wastage assessment I made previously favours White by a small amount, but not enough to make it anywhere near a pass.
