I developed an algorithm for the Take in these 2 checker vs. 2 checker situations which appears much simpler than yours. Follow in order:
1) If opp is off 75% or more this roll, pass.
2) If opp's distribution is better than yours, pass. (By this I mean if he gets off in more rolls than you get off, ignoring who is rolling first. E.g. his 43 vs. your 61.)
3) If your distibution is better than opps, Take.
4) If both sides have identical distributions, Take only if you will be able to (properly) redouble when opp misses. (This boils down to you being a favorite to get off in one roll after an opp's miss, i.e. your distribution is at least as good as 52.)
The proper doubling and redoubling actions are not so concisely stated, unfortunately.
