Another Naccel Practice Position

In Response To: Another Naccel Practice Position (Petter Bengtsson)

For Petter's repost of Timothy's position, Blue's count is: Far side = 9 (rear men slide back to S3 and midpoint slides to S1)
Seven men around S0 cancel,
leaving almost a triplet in the outer baord for 1(1).
Total = 10(1)

For White I have:
Shift far side forward 1 point (7 pips) and n-1 to S0 for a net 1.
+5 for the back men and 5 for the S1 stack = 11,
+1 for the triplet on n2.
Total = 12

But again, I cluster-count this very simply:

Blue shifts one chequer from 6 and 20 right 3.
Five prime around 7 = 70, + 42 for the rear men = 112, + 39 for the midpoint (which I see as 40 - 1) = 151

For White I eyeball that she is 5 pips more advanced than the start position, so 162.

A lot of the difference in my speed is familiarity and practice. Blue's Naccel count is simple once you see it, but I had to stare at it for a while to see the offsetting shift on the far side. In contrast, I quickly see that my Cluster Count will be based on a 5 prime for 70, plus 40 for the 14-13-13 formation at the midpoint. Then it's just a question of shifting the odds and ends into place.
