Do high dice win more often?

Besides confering a racing advantage anytime, I can only think of two other situations in which rolling big numbers would be generally good or bad: 1) When on the bar before the opponent is bearing off, big numbers on average are a disadvantage as the high points in the opponent's inner board will tend to be closed. 2) When on the bar when the opponent is bearing off, big numbers are an advantage as the high points will tend to be cleared earlier.
I would be shocked if these two together negate the racing advantages. One thing that would be most interesting to see from a statistical study is how powerful the advantage of bigger numbers is, i.e. how much winning percentage do you gain per pip of bigger average rolls?
