The settings used for the bg galore rollouts are given here: http://www.bkgm.com/openings/replyrollouts.html

The rollouts use 0-ply play and are truncated at a depth of 16.5 plies. Truncated rollouts give low random error in exchange for some level of bias because of the truncation. I expect Stick used much stronger settings for his rollouts. It would be interesting to see how often the bg galore rollouts differ from the bg online rollouts.
