I'll admit when he sent this cube over I couldn't help myself but half laugh. (mainly because it's Ray, he seems to like to chirp in when I'm playing, maybe I'm hallucinating but he's done it twice and both times after I checked and I had made the right play [with doubles] so his chirping was meaningless) I asked him (before I said T/P) if he was cubing on a bluff or if he really thought it was a cube. After I promptly took he said "I don't know, it could be a cube ... yada yada yada" Nowhere near a cube, I'm not even sure how it's not more of an error/whopper. I have 9 off, his men are stacked nastily on the 6 pt. and even if he immediately hits a 2nd checker and I fan, do I pass? I don't think so. He sucked out, hit with a 2 immediately, and then a lonnnnnnnnnng string of him trying to bring the position home. I anchored, I hoped out with two, I tied up my homeboard blots, but was still unable to bring it around. Yada, yada yada ...
