I'm guilty of being lazy. This was the consolation I believe and I just whimsically played 8/6 8/2. It looked good, obviously best when it works, but as others have noted the majority of my rolls play safe next turn and I shouldn't volunteer a shot when my opponent's board is pretty damn strong.
