Tom seems to be a very honorable guy and involved for the good of BG. I suspect, that he, like the rest of us, didn't previously realize much about P65's shady and inept treatment of winning players.

I won't speak for Tom, but I suspect that if he does have some previous arrangement with P65, he will cancel it ASAP.
