My own methods were developed by me prior to EPC but are somewhat similar and based on making adjustments some reference positions for speed board races vs pip count oriented races.

Anyhow..here I slightly underestimated my chances to waste a roll (or to not gain one with doubles) and determined that this was a borderline take/drop. Off course I cubed and I think Carter, also not being sure that it was a take or a drop, ended up taking since he was playing me.
