This is a very efficient 46 pips vs an 8 roll speed board and it is a bare take.
The score (after 0 games) is: gnubg 4, user 0 (match to 17 points)
Move number 11: gnubg on roll, cube decision?
Pip counts: gnubg 46, user 19

If we could have 17 or 18 checkers and a perfectly efficient 9 roll speed board we'd have a bare take vs a very efficient 52 pips. In the text position we might get off in 8 if we don't miss and our opp has a clearly less than optimal 54 pips. I guess we can penalize the opp a pip so right here even if we had a guaranteed 9 rolls, the opp would only be 3 pips slower than our point of last take and his cube not so strong. But clearly, on average, we rate to get off in fewer than 9 rolls... so ND
