I've always much preferred 5a7a to -5/-7 or -5-7. It's easier to type, easier on the eye, and more strongly connotes 5-away/7-away to me.
Putting the score of the person on roll first is something I already do, so that makes sense to me.
Adding the cube value and location is a nice touch. For readability, I'd suggest not putting it in the middle of the score, however. So I'd go with 5a7a (or 5a7a if the other person owns the cube).
