Yes. Maik got it. After 6/1 1/off your next move is forced. After 6/2/off you have a chance for an unforced move with 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and you will definitely play it correctly. This keeps your total error the same and divides it by a larger number of unforced moves making the avg. error rate lower.

Maik suggests using Snowie style instead. I suggest instead a refinement to gnu style. Instead of just discounting forced moves, discount moves in which every play gives the same equity.
