should be sufficient. more would raise the precision, but at an additional cost in mental taxation and could because it is more complicated be more prone to error. 2 significant digits could be used 1st and see if it is sufficiently close for the more precise # --- 144/179 a good approximation is 144/180 which factors to 12^2/12*15 , 12/15, 0,8 the real # is 0.80446927374301675977653631284916 using the easy calc you can estimate the imprecision and fudge it to 0.805
