Play on, 19* but wimp 4/3 with the ace. The one way the Creature could get to a win, and we could fall from double to no double, is by getting a second checker hit. That doesn't mean it would always be wrong, but with our having only one cover and his having a three point board, I wouldn't try it here.

I like staying back after 19* rather than going out to the bar point because if we're hit inside, we have mega-return shots, and he has no direct covers. If instead we're hit outside, we have only a few indirects from the bar, and with some entering numbers, might be forced to give him a direct shot at us.
