Spreading out in the outfield doesn't involve much risk, but it doesn't increase our chances of making the 8pt, and having it matter, much either. If it's right, it may have more to do with general flexibility than increased gammons. I'll spread out with 14/10 13/12 (to avoid 66) to buy a skosh more flexibility at a bargain price.
