Thanks Nack. My 36ing found the differences you mentioned. But, I totally missed the general implications of having the checker on the 10 point.

This is the type of analysis that led me to give "Backgammon Openings" such rave reviews. And, it is the way that you and Paul inspired me to spend so much of my Backgammon study time on the opening. I can't wait for the next book.

Stick sent me a bunch of 3rd roll GNU rollouts with the 65S vs R theme a few years ago. I can't find them now although I'm sure they are somewhere. But, I knew Stick had them. I spent so much time trying to understand 32Z vs S that I was sure they were part of the cohort.
