The race is about even, so we really would like to hit with the 1. Problem: no decent 5 to follow up. Trying 10/9* 7/2, to not leave any direct shots is clearly wrong as here are in fact 11 return hits, and it looks really ugly too. Then we must be much better off playing 10/9* 6/1*, also leaving 11 shots. If this was guaranteed to turn into a straight race when we don't hit, then I guess hitting two would be right. The 70% where Stick does not hit back we should be big favorites, where we must have less then 50% in a straight race due to Stick's cube ownership. OTOH, Stick's last man only escapes on six numbers (62 63 53), so I keep my cool and play 10/5 8/7.
