If we don't hit then we have to play 10/5 with five and I think 8/7 is better for ace then 6/5. It gives us good 6s to make our ace with 65 and 64 so we don't need to left blot on our bar point if we play 6/5.

It left 62 63 53 total six escaping numbers for white.

If we hit and play 7/2 it left 16 36 46 34 total 8 shots from the bar after which we have 11 returns.(If we play double hit it left 11 shots.)

I vote for non hitting 10/5 8/7 which left two fewer good rolls for white.
