After much deliberation, B/24 8/5. Blue is far enough behind in the race that the double hit might be right. However, White already has a gap-toothed board with the two point. He won't have any kind of effective prime unless he also makes the 5 point, and Blue is close to even money to make White's 5 point. Given that I hope to make the 5 point and play a 1-5 holding game or 3-5 backgame or whatever, I don't want to break up my prime and play to the ace point. I'd rather develop some sort of prime with the bar or 3 point and try to hit a shot sooner rather than later.
