Blue has 15 ways to hit on the ace point after playing 7/5. He's got more after B/20: 17 6s plus 15 4s, minus 42, 22, 64 for 27 ways to hit on the ace. 66 will have to be used to close him out, which leaves 26.

I've played against gnu a lot, and my guess is that it handles the position fine. It doesn't close White out at the first opportunity, but of course it doesn't let the blot sit there until it crashes (e.g., it won't misplay 66 by hitting loose). Gnu will, on occasion, misplay the position, but so will human players.
