OTB I made the right play for once and ran feeling I was too far ahead in the race to hold the anchor for anything but this turn so why not safety a checker? I didn't think making the anchor would be blunderlicious but apparently it is. Killing the spare to the 3 pt. isn't all that appealing and again, the main thing is, what are you doing next turn? ... Running off the anchor, possibly not to safety as you can this turn. Leave the straggler, the roller derby idea is a good idea in principle but here you should have no problem popping him out at the opportune time. The 'lure him off the anchor' with hitting 6s, 13/10, is uncalled for. He'd be happy to hit in this position.
