Match score argue for running 22/13. It is safe but after play we are 3pips behind, actually 7pips, so why running why are behind.

Second, we have better board, more man back, white has blot in his outfield, blot in outfield, so Magriel criteria point on bold play.

Third hit is more interesting to play so 20/14*/11. There is some duplication of 3s to hit on whites side of the board and white has to give his anchor to his as a little bonus.

After hit we are ahead in the race for 13 pips. Backgammon is a race in essence, isn't it?
