Hi folks,

Using GNUbg with "Grandmaster" (is 3-ply) settings for cube decisions is pretty bad practice.

I expect to see plenty of wrong doubles because of that (too early),wrong play-ons for too good, and wrong passes.

3-ply for checker play should be good, but I think I still prefer 2-ply, if only because this is the setting most people will use for most operations (and it is a lot faster and hardly weaker, if at all).

So, for GNUbg the results won't be too indicative I'm afraid. Still interesting to see how BGB will compare to SW4.5. It seems clear from past experiments that JF will be worst.
