After 20/16 13/8, we get hit with 31 32 33 34 51 52 53 54 55 = 16 rolls. After 20/16 18/13, we get hit with 31 32 35 51 52 55 = 11 rolls. Not all the return hits are equivalent, since some leave White with several vulnerable blots. Still, 20/16 18/13 leaves fewer shots and gets us closer to breaking contact. That's my play.
