The 23-point anchor has no future ...

... and blue's outfield is stripped.

13/7*/5 only helps white, who is already 27 pips behind in the race. 16/8 looks ok at first glance. But what is the winning plan then? White will have free hand to strengthen his outfield and prepare a prime or an attack.

I go for 23/21 , save a blot with 11/5, because I don't see a better 6 and hope white will not roll 44. Blue doesn't need that deep anchor.
