Why not make the Danish Wide Open the new World Championship? It doesn't conflict with WSOP and the Danish seem to be open minded about a lot of the ideas that the MCWC people are closed minded about.

Good question. At least the competition is much tougher, the organizers listen to requests or proposals of participiants and they try different things to attract more players. The Dbgf also sees the necessity to attract a broad base of players as platform for new stars.
