Can XG's out-of-the-box default settings be changed so that they match generally agreed settings?

Micheal Petch: I know there are a number of us who set the Search Interval to HUGE.

This is not a setting I will change the default. As i shown in http://www.extremegammon.com/SearchInterval.asp this setting will gain less than 3 Elo point while reducing the speed by a factor 1.66.

Preliminary results on the next version show that there will be even less gain by using Huge (within 0.5-1.5 Elo between Normal and Huge).
