Accuracy versus precision

The distinction between "accuracy" and "precision" may be helpful here.

By the "accuracy" of a bot's equity estimate, I mean how close it is to the true equity.

By the "precision," I mean how close it is to the result of an infinitely long rollout.

Even if we cannot achieve an accuracy of ±0.0001, we can achieve that level of precision just by investing a lot of CPU time, and for investigations into the bot's behavior, that may be valuable.
