I don't like 9/6 20/16, even if it seems to give fewest shots (14: 4x, 22, 31). We are left stacked and must first take hand of the straggler. 20/13 gives a few more shots (17: 6x,42,51,53) but seems to work better when not hit Better balanced, the straggler out, and the blot has more places to go and more opportunities to combine and be useful. I like this better.

The one I would like to like is 13/10 13/9 which makes a point and leaves no direct on our side. Alas, it leaves the most shots total (18: 3x, 16, 26, 11, 22, 44) And while hitting loose on 5 allows return hits, and as such may not be as bad, with XGRs strong board and the fact that the 5 is then slotted, they are actually not far from as bad... Also this play has some other defects as well, as still leaving the straggler and giving up the mid. I don't quite believe in it, so:
