I like to take a roll in these positions, there are a surprising amount of gammons that can come out of this thanks to White's 3 checkers on my mid (and the one on the roof of course) In almost all scenarios the worst off Blue is next turn is DP. I'd be a lot happier with the play on if Blue's spares were more well distributed rather than stacked on the 8, but I can live with taking a roll here, and then hopefully another, and another, and another ...
