Apart from XG's racing leed, both sides are standing so bad, that no one knows, who is loosing. Both sides are scrambling home. What we can do is waiting for the flyout or hitting, surviving the shootout. A reason for slotting is the urgency with which we need a particular point. According to our goal winning plan, we need more inner board points. Second is, that making this points in order is better, then creating gaps. A better connected position is a better position. Grandma said once to me, play with the cards you got. I think, putting all said together, i would play a double slot: 8/3 5/4. If we are not hit, chances are good to get a weapon, when we are hit and get a return, there is a three point board possible, which will give us decent chances, to stay in the game. 30 yard line comes in sight, i would take for another down.
